Cross-Rift Synergies
Cross-Rift Synergies are the interactions between export items from different Rift modules in Terminal Descent. When items from multiple Rifts are used together, they produce enhanced effects beyond their individual capabilities.

Convergence Point
After completing all three Rifts, a new anomaly appears at the Backbone (Node 13).
Trigger: Equip AEGIS_PROTOCOL + MORPH_PROTOCOL + FLAME_PROTOCOL simultaneously.
Effect: The three architectures resonate in harmony. The anomaly opens into the Convergence Point — a space where all three Rift worlds overlap.
Discovery: The Convergence Point reveals that all three Rifts were built on the same foundation. The Kingdom's vaults, the Station's sectors, and the Spire's floors share a common architectural ancestor — suggesting a single intelligence designed all three worlds.
Rewards:
- CONVERGENCE_KEY — Hook for seasonal content expansions
- Unified lore terminal — Connects Rift histories into a single narrative
- Codex entry: MYSTERY_RIFT_CONNECTION [PARTIAL]
- Prometheus Fragment trigger — Unlocks deeper Layer 5 content
Layer 5 Connections: Each Rift contains independent clues pointing to this shared origin:
- Kingdom: References "THE ARCHITECT OF VAULTS" throughout vault lore
- Station: "ORIGIN THEORY" document notes all Rift architectures share common ancestor
- Spire: "The Spire's creator" — an entity that built a monument to its own power
